About my books… part 1…

a 1

The fourth book in my action/humor science fiction series is done… sort of. I mean, the changes of my final edit are done. I put it in my sidebar, but the link to go directly to where you can order the book seems to be having issues. It may be a problem with the publishers… or it may be because I am a computer moron, and when I went in and added the widget, I did something stupid.

Either way, I think you can get to the book. The link now just takes you to the place where I self-publish my books. You can search there. Or, you can click any of the links for my other books that actually work, and find your way from there.

This, the fourth book in the series, might not be the last one I write for the series, but it does finish up the story from the first three books.

I am still editing that novel where I take the Disney princess theme and completely turn it on its head.

Oh, and I have an idea for a new novel. I will talk about that in the next part of this series.

You handed very big powers to a very small man with a very small mind and a very small ego…

a 1

I hope you can live with yourselves… hell, I hope we can all just live.

And now, more photos of my new friend, some boats, some water, a city, and all without having to look at any more pictures of my size fifteen feet…

a 1

My new little buddy Splash.

a 2

How adorable is she?

a 3

And, once again, downtown San Diego, California.

a 4

Boats, from the age of sail to a nuclear warship.

a 5

How does all of this tie together?

a 6

Maybe you should have read my last post.

a 7

I can’t do everything around here, can I?

A small dog, some big feet, some boats, some water, and a city…

a 1

I made a new friend today. That is Splash. She is a dog. A puppy, to be more precise. And those are my size-fifteen feet.

a 2

Splash is very thoughtful, pondering the workings of nature and so on…

a 3

I mean, well, thoughtful for a puppy.

a 4

Splash now lives with our friend Becky, whom my wife has known since they were both kids. I had to meet a puppy of course, so I headed over there early this morning.

a 5

And of course Splash leaped right up to come and meet me. We all know that dogs, babies and horses love me, right? Don’t trust anyone of whom that cannot be said.

a 6

The reason I was up early on my day off is because I had to take our younger daughter, Mollie, to the airport in downtown San Diego. She is going up to see my mom, who is turning 95!!! I will be going up there for a week next month, so there will be many photos of adventures in the Bay Area, and sunsets, and San Francisco and so on.

Also, I have one more post of pictures from this morning, so see you later for that.

Bones… part 3…

c 1 copy 2

The artistry of the skeleton.

c 1 copy 3

Such complexity. So many moving parts. So many curves.

c 1 copy

I sort of doubled up on doubling up on the mirror image effects.

c 1

Ooooh… I just noticed… that one is rated: Triple XXX. HA!

Bones… part 2…

a 1

A little digital double mirror image magic.

a 2

I think that was a cat… wait… do cats really have solid ear bones? Maybe it isn’t a cat… or maybe it is an artistic version of a cat skeleton.

a 3

Maybe I should have read what it was when I was getting skeleton images off Google.

a 4

But whatever it is… or was… it lives on.

Bones… part 1…

a 1

Okay, so this is the actual concluding segments of the ‘stick together’ series, where I used a mirror image effect on all kinds of different things.

a 2

And I might get a little crazy with this, just to warn you.

a 3

But when I was looking for images on Google that would be fun to do this with… from, as you may recall, people doing yoga to waterfalls, to buildings and cities and so on… I came across a photo of a skeleton.

These examples of what is to come just show how many ways you can mirror image one human skeleton. This is without resorting to doubling up on the mirror image effects… or using a photo of more than one skeleton.

a 4

But there is just something about the skeleton, with its intricacy, the curves of the rib cage, that made me want to try this.

a 5

And let’s not overlook the animal kingdom. Oh yeah, we could have fun with that… although it is making the crack squirrels that live in my head a little nervous that I am talking about animal skeletons. I may have to finish this with some squirrel bones!

a 6

I better stop for now. They are scampering around up there like… uh… rodents on amphetamines… and I am worried that they might damage something.

Stick together… part 61… cities… part 8… San Francisco… part 5… this is it, the final chapter!!!

a 1

This is it, the very last of the posts in this weird, mirror image effect series.

a 2

Okay, technically, that isn’t true.

a 3

I have an idea for a a cool way to finish it, and I have already started collecting photos from Google images.

a 4

But I have decided to start it as a new, shorter series, with a new name.

a 5

And it will be nowhere near as long as this series.

a 6

And, if the images come out as good as I think they will, I might do some triple or quadruple mirror imaging effects.

a 7

Because who doesn’t love those, right?

Stick together… part 60… cities… part 7… San Francisco… part 4… wait! Is that a robot vampire wearing a top hat in the middle of that first picture???

a 1

Maybe. Sort of. Not on purpose. But it is a cool time lapse photo of Lombard Street in San Francisco, done with a digital mirror image effect.

a 2

Lombard Street is another icon of the City by the Bay.

a 3

If you have been to San Francisco, you probably went to see this street.

a 4

It is, supposedly, the twistiest street in the world that people actually live on.

a 5

All I know is that it looks awesome in either mirror image or double mirror image.

a 6

Or at least I think it does.

a 7

I am still having fun with this, but as I said, we are almost at the end. Just one or two more posts about San Francisco…

a 8

And then we are moving on to the big surprise finish.
