I do like to think of this blog project as in interactive experience, where we all work together to have the most fun possible… I mean, yeah, when you get right down to it, I am probably going to do what the crack squirrels in my head tell me to do on any given day, but I do take requests for weird Photoshop pictures when the mood strikes me, and I do try to make it fun for you all… so answer a few quick questions, (which I will make multiple choice for your convenience) or just give me an idea what you might like to see…
- Should I do more funny pictures of Donald Trump?
A. Yes! More funny pictures of Donald Trump! That one where you made him kiss your little cartoon butt made me laugh so hard that coffee shot out of my nose, and they guy in the next cubicle came over to see what was so funny and now he is also following your blog… and your Twitter feed.
B. Seriously, enough with the Donald Trump already, he is now on here more than Dick Cheney was back when you had that weird obsession with him.
C. Politics makes me throw up in my mouth a little, and I would appreciate it if you never did another picture of a politician as long as you and your crazy crack squirrels live.
2. Should I do more pictures of me?
A. Yes! More pictures of you! You are adorable! I particularly like the ones where you make you move and do funny stuff like a little video… (and, though you are a self-confessed computer moron, you should really learn how to put videos on your blog so we can see even more of you)… and the funny cartoons of you, and the Photoshop ones, and the ones where you tell us about your travels and adventures and stick a crazy amount of gratuitous selfies in there, I freekin’ love those!
B. I guess, in context, a few pictures of you does add some flavor, as long as you don’t get carried away.
C. Have you consulted a mental health professional about this creepy obsession you have with your own face?
3. Should I do more written essays about my views on life?
A. Yes! I love reading your long and winding monologues about stuff, and they don’t all need to be broken up with pictures. Do more of those open letters where you try to piss off dangerous groups like terrorists, gun nuts, the KKK, the NRA, all religious people everywhere, that kind of stuff.
B. Sometimes those crack me up.
C. I have no idea, I don’t even read the words between the funny pictures. How much free time do you think I have?
4. Should I keep posting the chapters of the novel I am writing now, even though very few people ever comment on them?
A. Uh… I guess so…
B. I just skip over them… so… maybe…
C. You write books???
5. Should I do more photos of kids and dogs and horses and flowers and stuff?
A. Yes! Those are my favorite ones. And I can just skim down the pictures, ignore the words, and then type: ‘very nice’ in the comment box and get on with my day.
B. Yes. Because I can just click the ‘like’ button and get back to my own blogging.
C. Well, it is still snowing here, so pictures of beaches and blooming flowers is just sort of rubbing our faces in it, don’t you think?
