Pouring My Art Out

We have reached the end of our adventure, in which we surprised Mollie, my younger daughter, on her 18th birthday, by taking her to an animal sanctuary in Los Angeles.

We met a lot of great animals, and got to spend quality time with them.

Petting and feeding the sloth was absolutely amazing.

The sloth made Mollie cry with happiness. I hope you watched their YouTube video about it… I was in it too, just so you know. The link is in one of the first posts.

Jessica, my older daughter, is getting married in just a few weeks, and Mollie will be going to college after the summer. I try not to look at it as losing another daughter, but rather gaining a new music room to jam in.

Once again, a big shout out to Dashawn, Mollie’s boyfriend, who found the wildlife center online.

Guys, if your girlfriend likes sloths… or owls… or whatever, this is a great idea for a surprise. Just sayin’.

We stopped to get a bite to eat on the way home…

And even the sunset was magical.
