MiraLAX… for boldly ‘going’ where no laxative has ‘gone’ before… showing an actual poo moving through the human body on a commercial that airs on national TV… okay, it is just a computer graphic of a poo, but still…

Seriously, you can Google the company and see the commercial… I am not making this shit up…

The fact that they made the poo a friendly purple color only adds to the fun as you get to watch the product attack the poo from behind and gently begin to push it along.

I give this commercial ‘two’ thumbs up!

The sunset of a life…

A good friend of ours lost a brother.

I didn’t know him very well, but I know her, and she is one of my wife’s oldest and dearest friends.

The memorial service, down by the bay, was beautiful. It was a party. It was a celebration of a life.

My friend, Olivia…

Maybe you have found yourself wondering why I post pictures every time I babysit our friend’s daughter.

Why should you care?

The thing is… hey, I haven’t had a thing for a while… I love that kid… she melts my heart.

I was a stay-at-home-dad before it was a thing. I raised my two daughters. This takes me back to those days, when you could spend an hour just thinking up silly things to do with a pillow case.

I love the ways kids’ minds work. I love to make them laugh. I like to let my inner child join in the play.

And I really am honored that I get to help, in a small way, raise this sweet, lovely little human being, and try not to let the experience of growing up turn her into just another adult.
