Pouring My Art Out

Yesterday, as I mentioned in the previous post, was awesome. Mollie, our 15-year-old, went to a friend’s house so she and some of her buddies could get themselves ready for last night’s homecoming dance. And her friend has two horses! That is Ducati. Have I mentioned that horses, dogs and babies love me?

And later, at a nearby park, while we were taking pictures of Mollie and her boyfriend all dressed up… and she looked phenomenal,  but I am still not supposed to show her on the blog… I met Murphy.

Oh, and this is Cooper, the other horse. He is a miniature horse. And don’t worry about the mask. He isn’t an old-West outlaw’s horse. They put those on to keep the flies out of their eyes… which explains this rather amusing photo of Ducati…

Seriously, animals… and small humans… love me. Don’t trust people of whom that isn’t true.

That is my ‘I will keep scratching until I find the spot where you like to be scratched’ face.

I had the same look on my face, no doubt, while looking for Murphy’s ‘spot’.

There is no feeling like making friends with an animal.

See, you can tell they like you by the look in their eyes.

Murphy is an official park ranger dog.

Ducati is just a horse… if any horse can be just a horse.

The sunset was lovely, and the kids had a great time at the dance, if you were wondering.
