Another art project begins… part 2…

Well, I told you I would keep you posted on that post I am carving in a vine pattern, by posting posts about the post, so here is another post about the post that I am posting.

This time I took two photos of edges of the post, instead of four photos, one of each side, so you can sort of see how the vines are going to curl around it. I still don’t know if I am going to carve deep enough to do an underlaying level of vines, but it should be cool when I paint and varnish it.

All just digital magic done to a photo I took of a spider web.. after, you know, I sprayed it with fake dew from my mister bottle.

Droning on… part 8…

This is, I swear, the very last drone video I shot in the Bay Area the Christmas before last, when I got my first drone. My younger daughter Mollie and two friends she invited to my mom’s house to join us for Christmas, are mugging it up on the deck. You can see the Christmas tree in the window.

Masks work. That is a fact. Once again, you are entitled to your own opinion, but this is social Darwinism at its most basic. Maybe masks aren’t magic. They aren’t 100% effective. But they help. Is it really too much trouble to put up with the discomfort to maybe save a life? Maybe even the life of someone you know?

This isn’t some major sacrifice. We aren’t asking you to go overseas and fight Nazis for four years, for crying out loud. It’s a mask. You know damn well that if Democrats had said masks were bad you would all be wearing them. That is my opinion… but you know it is probably a fact.

So stop whining, wear a freekin’ mask, and we can all go back to living normal lives that much sooner.
