I found this beautiful little Zen garden along the highway…
And yes, if you simply turned around, the ocean was still there as spectacular as ever…
But don’t forget to look down as well, or you might miss a new, furry friend…
This is what I love about an adventure…
You might see what you expected to see, and not be disappointed at all…
But it is the surprises that make it an adventure…
Well, that and driving for hours on a twisty, narrow, wind-swept road in the fog on the side of steep cliffs and then stopping every mile to hang way out over the edge of the cliff to take pictures…
We live on a beautiful planet…
And we owe it to ourselves to see as much of it as we can…
Even if we need to go out of our way to do it.
