Try again – I’ve hauled both green eggs and ham – but at different times. There are a few breeds of chickens that lay pastel blue and green colored eggs. My colleague at work kept some of these “Ameraucana” http://www.mypetchicken.com/chicken-breeds/Ameraucana-B5.aspx and sold the colored eggs to the staff. I have hauled them home in my car – but still hauled them. Ham (or pork) was a fairly common meat backhaul from the US to Canada.
But green ham???
It doesn’t say green ham, only green eggs. Ask Doob, he’ll tell you that “green eggs and ham” means green eggs only and regular ham, otherwise it would be green eggs and green ham.
