I never know where to start when I have a bunch of cool pictures of a trip to share…

So I suppose some random pictures of the sunset over the San Francisco bay, taken from the deck of my mom’s house, are as good a place as any…

Once again, telephone wires are the natural enemy of both the photographer and the sunset…

Yes, I could remove them in Photoshop, but that takes time.

It would be so much easier and cheaper if we just dug trenches, cut down all the phone and power lines in the world, and put them underground… problem solved…

Once again, that is a perfect example of why all of you should vote to have me put in charge of this planet for a few days… so I could fix all these stupid problems for you.

We have so few above ground wires here in progressive Canada, I had forgotten what they look like!

Why do we need wires, aren’t we all digital these days.

Cool pics. I lived in a realtively new subdivision for a while and we had a wicked ice storm. Our power was out for about an hour, while some areas were without power for weeks. (this was back in the late 90’s). I love buried power lines. The only issue is if you need to dig for landscaping or pipe repair, etc. You have to get a special service in to trace where the power lines are before you start. It’s worth it though. I think that was the only power outage that we experienced there in about 10 years. Normally winds, accidents, ice, snow, etc will cut power ocassionally. No so there. I recommend it even with not being a photographer.

  4. Beauteous! With telephone wires and all! I agree with you. Art for President!

  5. These are great and I think I’ve seen too many romantic posts on Facebook, because I would swear the second shot, you’ve captured a heart shape of the sun through that tree. But don’t ask me what it looks like that tree is doing! 😉

Put the wires underground? So you’re just going to destroy the views of earthworms and moles?

“Yes, I could remove them in Photoshop, but that takes time.” May just be the funniest thing you’ve ever said.
