So, about that post… you know the post… I am going to stop doing so many posts about that post, so I can do my regular posts…

Don’t worry… I am not giving up on that post. I love that post. But I am spending too much time doing posts about that post. We can still comment on that post. In fact, when I do posts about other things, you can go to that post to leave comments telling me how brilliant my new post is on that post. Don’t even comment on the new post. Go to that post and talk about the new post.

To be honest, that post has become sort of a monster. I haven’t been getting my chores done because of that post. I haven’t been practicing my music or submitting stories or writing new stories, or selling my books or getting an agent, all because of that post. I know I am not the only one who has become addicted to that post. People are commenting on that post when they are supposed to be working. People are giving up sleep for that post. One person almost burnt their house down because they forgot about the cookies in the oven whilst commenting on that post.

But that post will still be there. I will do posts about that post once a week or so, not so much to remind us about the post, because really, do any of us ever stop thinking about that post? And it is nice to do posts to get new people to visit that post. But do I really need to take time away from that post creating  new posts everyday just to talk about that post? Even though some of the posts about that post were some darn clever posts.

  3. Well, I wish someone would pay attention to the point of your quest. I’ve just spent a few weeks watching a guy who says he gets over 100k visitors a week and keeps growing. I think it’s because he’s a Rush Limbaugh lite kind of guy and all he seems to do is repeat controversial topics under the guise of new and ridiculous titles. Yet another blog based on constant sarcasm toward people and their beliefs. Why oh why?? Screw it – Art for president!! Maybe.

Late to the game, so I’ll make thus comment post hoc.

  5. You are definitely obsessed. Maybe we can find a therapist to work that post.

  6. Stop whining already. We get it. It’s distracting for all of us

  7. Promises, promises! We’ll see…

Admit it, Art, you don’t really do “regular posts” anyway 🙂
