or; The irony from hell…
Okay, so I am doing the NaNoWriMo write a novel in a month thing. And I just learned that my daughter is going to publish my second novel in ‘The Otherwhere Chronicles’ series as soon as I can do all the rewrites and cobble it together. So let’s ask ourselves what that means, shall we?
It means that at the same time I am asking you to spend hours on my blog reading tiny words that are pouring out of my crack squirrel-infested brain, I am going to have precious little time to read your posts. Do you think I am happy about this? Do I think it’s fair? No. Even I am not that shameless and self-centered.
This ‘being honest’ thing sucks. But I think you deserve to know the truth. If my comments on your posts seem shorter, more rushed, less clever, it is because they are.
And I feel horrible.
But I promise that after this month is over, I will go back to cherishing each and every word you write as if they were my own…
…which sometimes they practically are…
…because, let’s face it…
…some of you steal my ideas…
…and I don’t blame because they are good ideas…
…and the crack squirrels make lots of them…

I am impressed at any rate that you can spurn out a novel alongside writing a regular blog. The fact that you have that much too say and that many observations on the world is a marvel 🙂
I must admit I am impressing myself… ha!
It took you this long to figure out you can’t do it all? Now you know why I haven’t been around so much! Back to normal in December, right?
I hope so.
It’s all good.
ha
I meant it. Get to your writing, the rest of us will be around when you have time to get back. It’s all good.
……………words………………
I will be avidly reading every word…. unless murdered of course!
So you won’t be missed on my blog – I know where you are! 😉
I have been told your first name is not Russian…
Who told you that? It’s a secret codename, you know. In reality, it is the letters of my mother’s and father’s first names jumbled up to come up with something new.
It was intended to be an ‘international’ sort of name, and something that would ‘match’ the unusual surname.
There are plenty of Russian’s called Anna (Anna Pavlova, Anna Karenina, etc) and Sarah too. Many people have these names around the world, ‘cos they are originally from out of the Bible! (Hebrew names).
I am aware of that, I am just telling you what I was told…
Hearsay…
You can be Russian if you really want…
Anastasia?
Let’s worry about it when I start editing.
No worries… now back to your duelling novels. Which one will cross the finish line first, we are waiting with bated breath! So sad about young Trenton. I suppose he might have to be written out of the story… or immortalised within…
HE STAYS!
YAYY!!
yup
Don’t worry, you’ll only miss just a couple of my posts at the speed I write them.
I feel like that every day because of my job and other obligations. I even started writing something similar, but I did not have the time to finish it.
P.S. I did not steal you idea (on one of my banners) if you meant me, I bought it from you fair and square.
I just threw that part in to be silly… I do sometimes see posts on other blogs that remind me of something I did just a day or two before. I consider that to be a compliment.
Your honesty is touching. I have been moved. If I had so much on my plate, I would panic, freeze and do nothing. I understand your predicament. Your candid admissions are praise-worthy, indeed. As i was saying, your crack squirrels are working over time, and you are not superman. I get it. I do. I really really do. Good luck with your endeavors. May they all bear fruit. (I can go on and on because I have nothing on my plate at the moment, and my job is not very taxing)
thanks for understanding
