So here is what is going on in my life.
Mollie, my youngest daughter, just turned 14. That is kind of scary and exciting. Today she is having her party. Jessica, my other daughter, has been helping prepare the house for the big party. We are lighting up the place with black lights and glow in the dark stuff. It should be an awesome rave. I should have some photos soon, that is if photos work in black light.
And speaking about Jessica, you may recall that she is now acting as my publicist for the novel. I sent her the final draft. So we should be fairly close to getting it published. The first part is going to be very cheap, maybe just a dollar or two. Her boyfriend did a really cool cover. I guess I don’t need to tell you that the first one of you who orders the book will make me a professional author and win my undying gratitude. It should be available not only electronically, but as an actual paper book as well if this all works out.
Oh, and thanks to your kind feedback on my post about what to name the entire series, I have decided to call it; The Otherwhere Chronicles.
In other news, my hips have been bothering me. It is sort of a dull ache. I hope it isn’t arthritis. Getting old sort of sucks.
Also, that website that Jason, Jessica’s boyfriend, and I are working on is coming along nicely. I have the first four chapters of the story written. It is a tale of warfare and violence, with a curse thrown in, and I think it is sort of powerful stuff. It certainly isn’t anything like the stuff I write here or the light, funny action adventure of my novel. And Jason is doing some really awesome 3-D artwork to go along with it. I will let you know when we get that up and running.
So there you go. Thanks for your interest. Hope you are all doing well.

Huh? I must of missed “put a lizrd on it”. What is ‘it” and why does it need a lizard??
It is just an expression I made up. I hoped it would catch on. You can use it any way you want. If someone makes you angry, tell them to put a lizard on it. Or if they make you happy. Or if you order a pizza.
You need Krill oil… do it now! Sorry, I don’t mean to shout. I like the title of the book! By the way, the Krill oil is for the hips, not the book. SOL.
I am taking fish oil. Is krill better?
Yep, Krill is stronger! You can get a blend of Krill and Omega together which is good too. But, here is the trick, whatever the jar tells you to take… double it! They are liars, we need more than they say. Sorry to get all Mumsy on you, but I have Arthuritis in my spine and believe me, I only feel it when I stop taking the pills! Ohhhh the pills!!!
I will always have Arthuritis no matter what I take.
SOL. Hey is SOL catching on yet? Any movement on google? You know that’s how words get into the dictionary these days… the number of google hits!
Not as far as I know. And neither is my ‘put a lizard on it’.
The year my daughter turned 14 was the absolute worst year in our relationship – I have heard this from many mothers. I hope, for your sake, it is different for fathers.
It doesn’t just kinda suck to get older, it really sucks! Wait till you catch up to me.
Good luck with the book!
Mollie is still a really good kid. Jessica is too. She went through a little bit of attitude change when she went away to college. We argue now and then because we are so alike.
Gotta love a cheap publicist…great plan. Not easy to find, so kudos on that.
She held out for 10%. I didn’t raise no dummies. Sigh.
I am new to blogging and a new “follower”. I am late but congrats on your projects! Website sounds outstanding. I will keep reading posts and most definitely visit the site when up and running.
Welcome! Please feel free to help yourself to the free snacks in the lobby. If you ever get bored, you can always scroll through my old posts. There is some weird stuff back there… down there…. and some original music under the button at the top of the page.
Thanks! I am never bored but am addicted to reading blogs. I am not too proud to admit it. I read a lot of your posts but I will definitely check out the music tab. Love that!
Yay. Thanks.
I love the way your life is going, except for the hips. The name, Otherwhere Chronicles is amazing! I am also quite tantalized by the new website can’t wait until you go public! Go, baby, go!
I am going as fast as my bad hips will carry me… Ha!
I am so happy The Otherwhere Chronicles won, it is a fitting title.
Jessica is 14, most auspicious. The party sounds like tons of fun.
Getting old doesn’t sort of suck(s) it really sucks, sucks with thermonuclear vacuum power. Getting old is fine, I suppose, it’s the wear and tear on the self that spoils all the fun of arriving. Eat some spicy food, that’s supposed to be good for inflammation.
Mollie is 14. Jessica is 23. That’s why she has a boyfriend.
I did not mention anything about a boyfriend.
I get my kids mixed up all the time.
…and you are telling us all this..why????
Because I like to keep you informed. And you need to know. All about me. I am just that interesting.
