Willy in his little Christmas outfit. That isn’t my picture, by the way. That is from the proud parent’s Facebook page. And there is a funny story behind why I was reluctant to take any pictures of Willy for my blog… even though I played with him on my lap for a long time, and could have gotten some great pictures of him smiling up at me. You know, like he does…
Except maybe when a green monster is eating his head. Nope, that isn’t my picture either. The thing is… there is always a thing… John was digging the funny Photoshop pictures I was doing during Willy week. And I was enjoying all the extra view hits from his friends. But he made a little comment on Facebook when I asked to get some more pictures from them about how I had to stop pimping out his kid just to get hits on my Blog. I was fairly certain he was just kidding… but… did I mention that even though I am 6 feet 4 inches tall John is quite a bit larger than me? And people tend to not ignore him. So I played with the kid for a while, and then we went out to an early dinner, and I could have gotten a lot of great pictures, but I wasn’t sure I would be able to post them. I wasn’t so much afraid of what John would do as I was of what he would say, if you see what I mean. I just couldn’t handle the idea of having pictures and not sharing them with you. That is how much I care.
Well, it turns out he was just messing with me. But by then Willy had passed out in his stroller because that is how good I am at playing with babies… I knock them out. So here is the only picture I took of him on that visit…
That is how happy and contented and worn out a baby who got to play with me is. Ha!!!
I also got one picture of the proud papa, doing the “I made that’ pose. I used to do that pose. Heck, I still do sometimes…
So that is the story of that day in the Bay Area, except that while we were waiting in traffic to get back on the Golden Gate bridge, I got one pretty good shot of the sunset…

Just so you don’t feel lonely, I too am a Baby Whisperer. Give me a crying baby & withing a minute the child will be smiling. Having trouble getting the baby to sleep – give it to me & the child will be asleep in 3 minutes. Baby won’t eat – give it to me & it’s eating right out of my hand. Babies & I have a thing going on (cue music – Me & Mrs. Jones)
See, I only trust people that babies like, so we will get along fine.
We’re just a bunch of Willy groupies, that baby is so cute!
It is all true.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
I already said that… but I know what you mean.
Oh, I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to days and days of Christmas Willie pics. But I do understand. Sigh.
I would do that, but even I would get bored sooner or later.
Congrats! You have successfully pimped out your child! I will now follow your blog!
That isn’t even my kid. But I pimp them out too, so… uh… thanks?
