Why yes, I am the guy who figured out that you can type insanely long titles for your post, and that, for some reason, WordPress will still show the entire thing on these topic walls where our posts go when we tag them as ‘humor’ or ‘social media’ or whatever, and that this is a sneaky way to get around the fact that the text of your actual post is cut off after the first few sentences, but so far, I have never tried to push the limits of this notion, and see exactly how far they would let me go in the title of a post without cutting it off, and I guess the crack squirrels that live in my head decided that today is as good a day as any on which to try to break the record for ‘longest title of a post on a WordPress blog’… you know, to go with our attempt to break the record for the ‘most comments on a WordPress blog post that isn’t run by a celebrity or a corporation’… which, if you didn’t know, we are already doing, and that post now has 44,330 comments on it… which might be a record, except that for some reason, that is the one stat that WordPress claims they don’t keep track of… but you should still come to my blog and leave a comment on that post anyway, just to become a part of history, or reply to old comments from other bloggers, because it is a fun place to meet people, and I have the best followers on the planet as I have said many times… so you can find that post by clicking the link over there… to the right—–> at the top of my sidebar… the blue words… yes, that’s it… and, oh, I just realized that this title is going to be really hard to proofread, and I remembered that the spell checker doesn’t work in the title bar… so… I guess I am going to have to start going back the beginning <— using my arrow keys, and just reading it all backwards as I go… and thanks for everyting, hope to see you again…
