So, yeah, Mollie is going away to college in just a little over a week…

We can think about that while we look at some pictures of her.

Pictures taken during our recent adventures in the Bay Area.

Where we saw Hamilton, and rode on a rocket boat, and played in the fog.

We can enjoy the view of San Francisco while we dwell on what it means to let your little ones grow up and fly free.

One kid happily married to a great guy… I shared all that with you.

Now, the last kid, ready to strike out on her own.

It’s a big world out there.

  1. Al says:

I am dreading the day my kids decide to leave home and go their own way.

I hope Mollie does well at college.

  2. Wow! Congratulations, Mollie! That IS a major step for anyone. Your photographic metaphors are a perfect description for all of life’s challenges. Please tell Mollie just to stay in school and complete her education. She doesn’t need to worry too much about a social life now. And, for God’s sake, tell her NOT to join a sorority and just stay away from social Greek-letter clubs! They serve absolutely no function, except to get drunk and have sex. I made that mistake 33 years ago, and it’s a decision I’ve regretted ever since. Just stay in school!
