Is there anything you would like to talk about? This is an interactive blog. We are a team. We make this magic happen together. I know, I make it seem like it is all about me a lot of the time, but it really isn’t… you matter to me.
And we can have meaningful conversations about real issues and events. We can tackle the tough topics. I have often said that I attract the smartest bloggers… for some weird reasons I don’t quite understand… so we can talk about things if any of you feel so inclined.
Are politics… or a particular politician… getting on your nerves?
Is global climate change starting to scare you a little?
Does the whole situation in the Mideast just seem like one unending morass, a swamp that we can never drain?
Got problems at work? At home? Is your car making a funny noise? Do you have a strange lump growing on your ankle? Are your roses looking a little wilted or maybe they are covered with aphids? Stress? Bills? Romance? What?
Hey, I am not saying I have the answers… and I guess you could just Google most of those… but if you want a place where you can ask a question to a large group of very diverse, very intelligent, very well-rounded people, I can’t think of a better place than this.
I could make this a series… maybe do one ‘what’s bugging you?’ post a week.
Let me know what you think…

My dad has dragged us to our native place, and I’ll admit the first few days were fun. But now? It’s almost a month and I HATE it here. Hate the silence, the peace, the greenery, everything. I know you’ll think I’m crazy, but now I miss my city. And the happening life of a city.
This was oddly satisfying. Thanks for this!
Thanks for sharing… sounds like you are suffering from; the grass is always greener syndrome.
Hahaha, I guess so. 😛
I know… ironic in this case, but still.
Yeah!
yup
This is a great idea!
no way
Way

Why is it that criminals have so many rights despite the fact they basically give those up when they decide to commit said crime?
It started off as our attempt to be fair when it comes to dispensing justice… but to let one hundred guilty men go free than that an innocent man should be wrongly punished… and it was a way to keep order as societies grew… then it just became a way for rich people just to beat the system.
It’s just funny to see in society how people react to the police using over the top force to subdue someone. I read a Facebook post recently where a girl witnessed 3 or 4 cops chasing a 18-20 year old male. She criticized the police and felt bad for the boy since no matter what he had done didn’t warrant this amount of force. I feel like our society as a whole has this same outlook. The criminals put themselves into these situations willingly. They shouldn’t have the benefit of rights.
We might end up with cops refusing to do some jobs or go to some areas.
Note: your offer could open many cans of worms…
I like to be the fly in the ointment…
I wish a politician would come along and run on his/her qualifications and platform, never once referencing the other candidate. A “here I am, here’s what I believe, vote for me on my merit” type candidate.
I vote for that too!
I also like the way the British run elections… they only have 6 weeks to do it, and nobody can receive more than like a few hundred thousand dollars in donations or funding.
I like that as well!
We could run for office and then pass a bill…
