Well I am going to just post some pictures of our Christmas in the Bay Area… from my cheap old camera… so I can get to the ones on our brand new camera!!!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww… that is my new little cousin, Clark… AKA Clark-a-doo, Clark-a-doodle-doo, cutie patootie, and ‘Eyelashes’… HA! Not the neatest eater yet, but then again, neither am I… So glad his parents moved to California and made it for Christmas.
That is an ornament I made years ago. It hangs on my mom’s tree every year. I took the photo with it laying on a piece of wrapping paper, just so you know, because the light was shining through it. To make it, I just drew it on paper, colored it in and then cut it out and hung it on a ribbon…
But when it spins in a breeze, you can see the other side… Is it just me, or is that doll a little creepy???
Because… BABIES!!! You know I loves me some babies!
Another of my Christmas decorations, this time mounted on wood… a little leopard and tiger in Santa outfits…
Uh… remember, before we left, that I did a picture of a gift that my daughter Mollie got for me, and then wrapped to look exactly like a t-shirt… well, it turns out it was a t-shirt… or a t-shit… (Sorry, couldn’t resist)… I love that Mollie knew I would actually wear that shirt… but seriously… who else is wearing them… except for people who are really, really old… (shut up)… oooooooooooooohhhhhhh… speaking about how old and decrepit I am, my Uncle Bert sent me an email that says he realized that yesterday, I was exactly 20,000 days old… dagnabbit! Somebody do the math and tell me if it’s right…
There are some flowers my mom has in her window, to get the taste of poo out of your mouth…
And one more of Clark… because… BABIES!!!

Oooooohhhhh Clark is a cutie patootie! I did a similar ornament years ago. I found a pic of a Xmas stocking in a child’s coloring book, put in on an overhead projector & projected it onto a piece of plywood, then traced all the details on the wood. Then I used a jigsaw to cut out the details of the outer shape & painted the details. It hung on the side of my house & off my balcony for years! Hubby hated it because he thought it was a pain in the butt, so he left it in the attic of our store when we moved to Alberta! Grrrrrrr . . .
oh man… everybody is a critic
I wasn’t being critical! I was sharing a story to show how closely linked we are creatively! We have done similar projects – just different in scope!
no, I meant that he didn’t like yours… not that you didn’t like mine…
Clark is adorable. Can’t wait to see Willie. Pooping every day is healthy.
yes, me too, and so they say
I knew it was a t-shirt! Clark is cute. Where’s Willie?
he is coming soon
Cool!
yup
Cute!
Leslie
Thanks… I am, aren’t I?
The baby, not you! (well I guess you’re kind of cute, but the baby has you beat hands down)
Leslie
story of my life
🙂 You’re doing okay.
Leslie
ha
20,000 days? Wow… you’re young! How many times does the average person poop in 20,000 days?
less than 20,000 if you aren’t regular
I think the doll was creepier in the first shot when she was only a random dis-jointed arm piece. The shirt suits you
uh… thanks?
Hee hee always happy to contribute a bit of squirrel chow now and then.
sigh
;p?
wheeeeeeeeeeeee
