I am going to start my new series in which I interview you, my trusty minions… uh… I mean my loyal and beloved followers… (Does that really sound better than minions? Couldn’t WordPress have put in a ‘friend’ button instead of a follower button, so we could call each other friends?)
I am calling my new series: Inner Views
Because it sounds sort of like Interviews when you say it out loud, but we get to know what is going on inside you… clever, right?
The only thing you need is an email so I can send you my questions… oh, and a sense of humor… I was toying with the idea of having you email me a bunch of random facts about yourselves with no questions, and then having me make up funny questions to match the answers, which would be fun, but let’s try it the old-fashioned way first.
I haven’t decided how to pick who gets interviewed in what order yet, but I might do it based on how many comments you have left on my blog. Or how much you ask me to be next. That seems random.
I am going to kick this off by interviewing… or inner viewing… myself first… There are three reasons for this:
1. It will give you an idea of how to respond when I interview you.
2. It will set the bar very low so you will not worry about the pressure of answering weird questions.
3. It will help us figure out if this is going to be funny or not.
There is a serious aspect to this new idea of mine… that I stole from somebody else… if you read the last post you would know that… I want to let other people get to know you. This will be a chance for you to maybe sneak in some insight into what makes you tick. And if you are a new blogger, the exposure might be helpful in building your blog.
Now please excuse me… I have to go ask myself some tough questions…
