So you know how I just did that post asking one of you to volunteer to edit my murder mystery for free, offering absolutely nothing in return except for adding a page to the book with a thank you and your blog info… hell, I’ll put your phone number and address in there if you want me too… and a free, signed copy of the book when it’s done?
I feel bad about that. It isn’t fair. Obviously I would be taking advantage of you. So instead of asking just one of you to help, I thought we could cut down on the work load by having a bunch of you help edit the parts of the book I already posted.
See how much I care about you people?
This will also help eliminate those of you who are horrible at editing. If I wanted horrible editing, I would send the dang thing to the publisher the way it is right now.
So my new idea, which I sort of thought of by myself but was helped along by my friend in India, Krishnan Nair at: http://nairview.wordpress.com/ … yes, you recognize the name if you read the murder mystery, I wrote him in as the General’s driver… anyway, the new idea is that I am going to repost chapter one and you can all play editor. And whoever spots the most mistakes and puts them in the comment section, is the winner… and gets to edit the whole thing… for free…

Or maybe we can all do a group edit on the whole thing up until the last chapter I posted, which really will be the last chapter I posted, because I am not posting the end of the book or none of you will buy it.
