But let’s not forget this blog is all about me…
So how about some pictures of me in the desert! I notice that the photos don’t really show how high the little mountain we climbed was. They don’t give the true scale, the vastness. Deserts make you feel sort of small.
There I am doing my Vanna White impersonation.
In case you think I am even more self-absorbed than I am… and believe me, I am… I did take lots of pictures of my wife and my two daughters and my oldest daughter’s boyfriend. But my wife doesn’t want to be in the blog, and she wants me to not put pictures of the kids in anymore… you know… in case some of you are sex maniacs or something. I tried to reassure her by telling her that while most of you are indeed sex maniacs of one sort or another, you aren’t the kind who are going to come to my house and start stalking my kids. I must admit that I do sort of hope that some of you at least fantasize about coming here and stalking me in real life, but let’s not get into that.
But I do look pretty good for an old guy… who hadn’t shaved for a while… and I have been going to the gym… so… hey… I can’t control your fantasies… and neither can you…
Okay, that’s enough pictures of that one hike. Join me later for something really special.
Oh, and I did take one picture of the sunset from the car after this hike…

So… this means I can fantasize now???
I never say no to that.
Oh dear, if your head weren’t so swelled already I might say something like this:
What a spectacular view!
And then there’s that gorgeous desert too!
If your wife knew better, she would want you to not post pictures of you!
Those kind eyes, and friendly dimples…
So… anyhow… What a beautiful desert! I had in mind to visit Arizona one day, in my younger, not so grey years… Now I don’t have to really.
You could come to San Diego… hint hint…
I heard there was a couch available… and songs to be sung…
Yes and yes.
These are awesome pictures; but the professor definitely agrees they were absolutely getting in your way. Honestly, the professor feels they ruined some of the photos. I’m sure you agree; don’t you?
I don’t know if they get in the way. The world makes a nice backdrop for my splendidness. I try to find beautiful places and make them look even better by just being there… ha!
And I’m sure it works. The professor would make it look worse, you see.
I am sure that is not true.
But it is, dadblameit!
Well, now I feel guilty for my phenomenal good looks… and brains and creativity and artistic abilities…
You should! Maybe you could lend some?
I would if I could.
Wow great photo! I love the colours! Please check out my blog at http://www.inspiringthroughthelens.com
I love the pictures.
Don’t worry about me, I’m just too lazy to stalk anyone, even you. But I could see how other people may want to.
That is the nicest thing anybody ever said to me… that didn’t want something…
Hmmm. I do want your second book, so I guess that doesn’t count, huh?
It does unless you are shooting for a free copy…
No, I’m planning to buy it. Why, do you have a free copy?
I don’t even get free copies…
Ha Ha Ha.
