Sorry… didn’t mean to shout… but I am so freekin’ excited!
I am now the proud author of two books.
You may recall that I did get one copy in the mail and there were a couple of small smudges in the artwork. Those are now fixed. So tomorrow I will take a picture of me with my new book and post it. And then I will try to do a new link in the sidebar so you can order this book for your kids or your grandkids or yourself for Christmas…. If I am smart enough to do that…
I should point out that this book is really aimed at very young children. But it is cute and has the original artwork I did. So there you go.

Congrats on the new book. I honestly did not think you were a published author. I thought the book cover on your page was just a prop. just checked it out on google. Too bad I won’t be able to read it. I don’t think this book sells in book shops here. I would have definitely bought it other wise, considering how much I’ve enjoyed your blog.
I do wonder though, how do you get the time to write a book in between all the hours you spend here? 😀

I am unemployed, for one thing. That frees up a lot of time…
If you are a pro, how can you call yourself unemployed? Can’t argue with crack squirrels.
Also, I don’t have a tablet or en e-book reader or even a smartphone. I use nokia c2 – goes almost 4 days on a single charge, and also serves the purpose of a brick, if the situation calls for it.
I guess having a copy of a book mailed there would be cost prohibitive… but I appreciate the thought…
Yes. It would be cheaper to buy a kindle. 😀 I’m planning to buy one. I well regale you with a fine diagnosis of your book, once I do.
I do like it when people write a review on the site where they got the book… unless they thought it sucked..

If you go to amazon.com you can download a free Kindle reader FOR COMPUTER. I did it for my library ebooks and there is also a free download on the web of Adobe Digital Editions, another E-reader. On my Windows computer, I prefer to read in Adobe DE because you can fill the screen edge-to-edge with type. Kindle fills a narrower portion thus when you enlarge the type for easier reading you incur more page changes as their are fewer lines per page. Neither seems to allow scrolling within the page to keep the line being read at the top of the page. If you attempt to scroll, they change pages instead.
