Sharing the love… Part 6…

This is another of my posts introducing you all to powerful blogs that I follow. In this case, the title of my blog might be funny… in a sad and ironic sort of way.

Go and read the words of my friend at persuaded2go. She made a mistake… a rather large mistake, and has been analyzing it daily on her blog. Hey, we all make mistakes. But we don’t all spend months and months beating ourselves up about it. The thing is that she felt guilty. And she accepted that. But most importantly, she has been learning to forgive herself and move on. Not that fake forgiveness where you just try to convince yourself it wasn’t a big deal.

See, she is one of those bloggers that make me feel like what I do isn’t really that important. It turns out I know a lot of bloggers like that, and that is why I am doing these introductory posts. Because all I do here on my blog is be silly. Oh, I am good at it. And maybe some of my art and original songs and stories and poems rise a little beyond the level of silliness. But silliness… and weirdness… are my stock in trade.

This girl, among many of the blogs I follow, might actually help people. In fact if you read the comments of her blog you will soon realize that she does. Because the mistake she made is a somewhat common one. What is unusual is find a writer who is willing to rip open her own wounded heart over and over again to see if there is anything left that might shed some light on why we do the things we do in the first place. I pour my art out. She pours her heart and her tears and her soul out.

So go on over to;

Because if you never made the same mistake she did, you still might someday. But at the very least you will know someone who has or will.

    Sniff…making me all drippy and stuff…

  2. She certainly writes with her emotions on her sleeve; very honest and open. Thanks for the recommendation!
