What I haz learned from my bloggingz… Part 4…

If you do a post about unicorns pooping rainbows, you will get at least one view per day from the search engines… Google didn’t do anything to mess that up…

I am going to say at least 15 stupid things every day. I try to do them on the blog, but it doesn’t always work out that way…

Politicians are never going to get anything done as long as they spend all their time trying to make sure the other side doesn’t get anything done…

It takes one to know one… but it takes two to tango…

Religious people who spend all their time thinking that God is telling them to hate gay people might be hearing voices… but I doubt that the voices are coming from any god…

Many of you are quite willing to give me computer advice and technical support that I am usually not smart enough to understand…

I am a pretty lucky fellow…

Trying to publish a funny sci-fi novel that I have been working on for more than three years is hard work and perhaps the scariest thing I have ever tried to do…

You all cut me a little slack when I do posts about Conan the barbarian because you know how much I like to do it, and because maybe I have convinced you that he really is a good role model and that you should really try reading some of the original Conan books and not pay any attention to the movies…

Yup… I still like monkeys…

You get more views if you do 5 short posts a day than if you do one really long one… but you run the risk of getting on people’s nerves…

I stumbled across your blog after your daughter, whom I only met once at a comedy club over 2 years ago, posted your link. I’m so glad she did. The voice you write with is so fun to read.

How about one well done post? 😉

  3. I didnt know what to expect when i read your post, and i was pleasantly surprised to find out it could not be pin-pointed in any one thing. A random line up of irreverent facts. I would have thought (if i had tried to do this it would not have had the randomness of harmony yours did!!) it would surely have failed. Yours rang like a haiku. A poem does not always have to rhyme. …nor connect with the line above. This is like a little bit of poetry and i think you will surely get your desired hits and will be a big hit. I am a fan that i do know. Make it big!

Wha-what!?? You wrote a book? Why am I just hearing about this now? Where have I been?

    • I am trying to get it published within the next month… the first part that is… I write songs too… under that button at the top of the page. Now I am wondering what else you might have missed.

      • fortyoneteen's avatar fortyoneteen says:

Me too! Nah – I got the songs, it was the book that was the surprise! First part??… how many parts are there?

        • I wrote it as one novel… 400 typed pages… single space… But I am deviding it up into four parts… and there is a sequel coming…. I had the whole first part posted under a button at the top, but I took the button down. The chapters are still back down there in the blog. The title of the first part it… The saloon at the edge of everywhere… you can searcdh back and read parts if you want. Or get it when it comes out. It should be available on most electronic devices or even in actual printed form.

Ooooohhh… actual printed form? Old school – just the way I like it! That’s so exciting, congrats on getting published. I’ll have to go fishing around in your blog – let me know if it tickles!

            • At the risk of sounding concieted, I always try to get people to just scroll through random months of my old posts. Just glance at the pictures and maybe read the titles. There is some weird stuff back there.

  5. At least I’m trying to pop in here real fast, read real fast, and leave a like real fast. Have you ever tried making the unicorn poop?
