Making the tie dye reflection in the water was actually a lot of work. I guess I could have just done this…

I am starting a new organization. Men, it is time we take a stand. We are part of this too. Stand up for the women in your life, Your mothers and sisters and daughters… your friends. We can make the world better. Take a small step. When you hear ‘locker room talk’, tell the talker it isn’t funny. When your friends brag about their ‘conquests’, tell them they suck. Teach your sons to be respectful. Tell them what ‘no’ means. We don’t have to accept any of this as normal.
Maybe we have become, in a weird way, too civilized. We don’t always confront bad behavior because we are learning not to be confrontational. There was a time when men would behave violently towards a sexual predator. I am not saying that violence is the answer. But we can channel our testosterone to at least fight back verbally. And we can be good examples. We can call out predators whenever we see or hear of abuse. We can tell our male friends that moving on an intoxicated woman is just plain wrong.
We can be a part of the solution. Peer pressure and positive role modeling are powerful weapons. Yeah, not as powerful as a hammer to the nuts, but this way, we don’t have to end up in jail.
Help me start the revolution!!!

Okay, that’s cool, but I think I can do better… maybe add the tie dye reflections in the water… I will be back.

With the color removed from everything but the lit windows, and with a digital water reflection filter, I think this one might capture my experiences in Amsterdam, at least a little bit.

Okay, it is a lot like the first one, I admit… except that, after cutting out all those windows, in order to remove the color from the buildings, I went back and added color to the same windows in the water reflections.
I might also have done this…

Or maybe this…

I will neither confirm nor deny any rumors that the title of this blog post series might initiate into the subject of as to whether or not I might have come in contact with any hallucinogenic materials whilst in Amsterdam as a young man in my early twenties… I am just having some digital art fun with some photos I found on the interwebs.

I should really be doing these with photos of my own trips to Europe, should’t I?

As someone of Twitter pointed out, they can’t actually run for President and First Lady, because tRump would undoubtedly ask to see their birth certificates and accuse them of being born in a shithole country. So let’s switch over to a monarchy, what do you say?

Okay, I admit that throwing in John Cleese as First Lady just made me giggle.
