So, I am narrowing down my choice of which picture of my daughter, from the photos I took way back when, to use for the artwork for the cover of my newest novel, which is almost done being edited, and will soon be ready to self-publish. While I am doing that, I am going to take this opportunity to clear out some photos from my files. Some, like the one above, are still left over from that night right after Christmas, when I was still in the Bay Area, and my mom and I went up into the Berkeley hills, to watch the sun set over the bay.
And some, I have been taking at work, with my new iPhone 10!!! Oh yeah. For a brief, magical moment of time, I have a better phone than my two daughters… which drives them crazy.
I got it because I just had a birthday, which means I am… even older.
So I am going to do a few posts of sunset photos, taken in various parts of California…
On various nights…
In various times of the year.
My new phone has a camera that kicks my old phone camera’s ass!
But the Bay Area ones were taken with my real camera.
And I am still getting used to my camera on my new phone.
Because it is a smartphone…
And to be honest…
I’m not really a smartperson.
Happy Belated Birthday, Art!
Thanks, buddy!
