I want to make a sincere apology to you if I ever made fun of your religion… unless, you know, you ever used it as an excuse to kill other people… or if it is just a convenient way to feel superior to other people and judge everything they do so you can feel smug about condemning them to some kind of hell or purgatory just because they do things that you don’t agree with… or if you are so self-centered that you just blithely assume that every person on the planet that has a belief system that differs from yours in any way is just plain wrong and stupid… or if you were just randomly assigned a religion because you were born into it and so you carry on under the assumption that it must be the best and only true faith without ever bothering to look at it or think about it or ask questions or compare it to other faiths and see if maybe some of them have some good points too… but other than that, I’m really sorry.
