You knew your checkered past would be a benefit some day, didn’t you?

I got grand jury once, only time I ever got jury duty in my life. It was three months, every day that I went in I got paid $50, plus you get paid for your work when you take the time off. Plus I learned a lot about the legal system and process, and the law in general. It was fascinating, but troublesome too, when the victims would have to come up and state their stories to us. Some tragic stories. But I valued the experience immensely.

I’m banned from Jury duty. Hope you get a juicy case.

Send the crack squirrels instead, Art!

(Good luck; I’ve never been called …)

Been on a jury once…. it was scary…. would not have wanted those people making life or death decisions about me…

OMG Art – the judge is in for a surprise. When a person includes aliens, crack squirrels, super-heros, etc – the meaning of “reasonable doubt” becomes much, mich different than it is for John Q. Public. May the force be with you!

Oh no, not fun! I’ve never been called for that thankfully but I couldn’t do it if they wanted me.

Do you have to show up? I got called for jury duty earlier this year. I got a letter. It said to check the superior court website every night for a week to see if my “group” had been called to appear the next day. I did and each time,my group was not called. So I spent a week on call, but not getting the call to duty.

  9. Don’t forget to comment on my post for today, Art. You’ll regret it if you don’t.
