This one was sent to me by: http://thousandthingsinmyhead.wordpress.com/ Once again I am ashamed to say that I don’t really know anything about the person or the blog, and yet they know me well enough to do a piece of art that captures the essence of my blog.
I find this both moving and humbling.
Also, this image did not originally have a black background… I had to do that in Photoshop, so you might not be seeing this picture exactly as the artist intended… sorry… I am a computer moron…

Awww, so cute.
I absolutely LOVE that!!!! It’s perfect!!
Thanks for supporting the fine arts!
Not many takers of my fine arts I see … this is the surest sign that its ahead of its time. (And press like)
this contest may have just run its course… people start getting bored if I do stuff too long. Also, I had a slow day and that had nothing to do with your art. This thing is very cyclic. Besides, I had to mess up the background. When I posted it directly from the email with no background I thought it looked even better. But people couldn’t see it for some reason.
was just kidding … also like to Little Miss Menopause comment. Her blog rocks!! 😀
I am famous for having the best commenters in the world!
That’s a clever pic!
it really is
Maybe it’s an issue on my end, but the image isn’t showing up when I open up your site.
oh… I may need to do something…
FWIW, it’s not showing up in my reader either. Just a blank space where the image should be with a small gray icon in the upper left corner that looks like a torn piece of paper.
ok… I will deal with it…
try it now… I did a change…
Yes, there it is. Thanks for fixing it. Out of curiosity, how did you do it?
At first I tried to copy and paste the original from the email into Photoshop like I do with most pictures. It is easy to resize them, or make changes. But this one had no background, and when I did that it added the black background. I tried to preserve the transparency, but no luck. I tried, with the first post, to just copy the image directly into the post from the email version, and it looked cool to me… no background so it was just the jug and the water. I guess it confused something. So I had to go back to the Photoshop version, which added those weird blue rainbow shapes like handles to the jug.
Well, it looks fine. And I thought those “weird blue rainbow shapes” were small handles to the jug, so it doesn’t detract from the image…well, in my opinion, anyway.
I still like it.
