Some random scary things from our trip to Disneyland to start getting you in the mood for Halloween…

Skulls are always fun… and they take a haunted mansion and make it scary in a different way…

Although I am still forced to wonder what sort of psychological damage we are doing to young children by showing them Jack Skellington in a Santa costume and presents full of frightening things… but whatever…

a 1 a 3And what isn’t scary about a giant, decapitated rodent head made out of plastic pumpkins???

Bones are always scary… especially big bones with big teeth… or human ones you find in your backyard when you are digging a flower bed…

Okay, that doesn’t look scary at all. It looks like a big Ferris wheel… and it is… but those baskets do some freaky swinging back and forth at random, unexpected times. It is way scarier than the fastest rollercoaster… although I’m not sure why it is.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Sorry… that startled me… and, as I discovered while standing in yet another endless line… (which might well be the scariest part of a day at Disneyland)… I might have been wearing that hat upside down for all these years.
