We took a walk around San Francisco. Willie wasn’t buying the whole ‘nap’ idea, so we did an old parenting trick and walked him in his stroller until he passed out.
We walked through some really nice neighborhoods not far from where they live.
So I took a few pictures.
Just for the heck of it.
Being rich… I will have to give that a try one of these days.
Now that is a nice house, but my favorite part was the dog.
Because… you know… dogs…

When I see those big houses all I think about is how hard it would be to keep it clean. Of course, if you could afford the house you could afford a housekeeper.
Exactly.
Some guard dog.
The burglars stop to pet it and the police come before they can pull themselves away.
Such a clever ruse. Sounds like entrapment!
It does, doesn’t it?
You’re probably on CCTV and your image is being beamed across the State. 😀
They probably have blind ninja cats inside to take care of the dog haters.
Hey, there’s a dog in my office today, my manager couldn’t get a dog sitter. He’s just lying there in his office doing nothing. Poor thing must be bored
Might be a trap…
It’s a black spaniel thing, you want to Skype him 😀
ha
I just went in the office and he growled at me. Dogs hate me
I find that worrisome…
It’s because I smell of cats.
By the way, hope all your friends and family ok in the quake thing
They barely felt it, but thanks
It never ceases to amaze me what passes for luxury real estate in California. Move to the South. Your house would be 3 times the size of what you have now and cost less.
With a view of the Golden Gate bridge? World class dining, theatre, and music? Movie stars, and earthquakes?
Earthquakes are overrated.
Yeah they are.
Depends on where you move… except for the bridge. I wouldn’t pay so much money just to look at a bridge.
Neither would I.
Nice digs. Are you sure that’s a dog? It looks suspiciously to me like an Andorian. They are here watching us to see if we rate contact. Remember Douglas Adams’ “Hitchhker’s Guide to the Galaxy”? So long and thanks for all the fish.
I used that same line today as a joke on another blog…
I like the second house, and the last one cause the grass is nice and green, with a pretty impressive driveway too, and the dog.
The dog makes it.
Is that a PON? Polish Lowland Sheepdog? We thought of getting one except that I hate to brush my own hair. Cute, cute dogs. Not as cute as Duncan, but still pretty cute.
I am not sure what kind of sheep dog he was, but he was blind and deaf.
He looks kind of medium sized– so I’m guessing it is a PON. Plus the folks are rich. So I’m guessing it was a PON. They look like old English sheepdogs, only medium sized.
Designer dogs…
It is hard to find something as cute as Duncan…
That is true. I need to post some pictures of him …
yes… you do…
hey… what about me… HA!
