… to finish sending the children’s book to the publisher before I have to take Jessica to the airport to go back home. So I am going to recycle another old post or two today.
This one is sort of funny. I make the blatant attempt to get people to go back and read my whole blog from the very beginning. I think it worked on a few people, but I had only been blogging for about a month. It is funny to go back and see how goofy I was… not that I have changed a lot… I still think you should go back and read the whole dang thing in the order it was meant to be read…
This post was called:
Do not read this yet…
——————————
Okay, you can read it, just to find out why you shouldn’t be reading it yet.
I realize that I am the one with the problem. Ironically, I am writing my second blog, but I have never actually read one. Well, what I mean is that I have never read anyone else’s blog. I read mine all the time because it makes me chuckle…(you perhaps begin to see the trouble I have maintaining inter-personal relationships)…
Why does art require such vast self-centeredness? I have no idea…But I do know that you hardly ever hear someone say, “Hey, let’s paint something together,” unless they are talking about a bathroom or a kitchen. We can deal with ‘collaborationist’ at some other time…
Sorry, I got off topic…(If you stick around, you will notice that this happens fairly often, and it is worse when I am speaking, which I tend to do at a much faster rate than I can type with two fingers)… But ‘blogs’, as it turns out, are meant to be read from the bottom up. I am not sure, but I doubt that even papyrus scrolls had to be read from the bottom up. I am certain that we solved this problem fairly early in our development of writing.
So perhaps you will forgive me for pointing out that this blog, and supposedly other blogs as well, work best if you scroll way down to the bottom and then start from the very beginning. (I just realized that we actually use the word scroll still, even in this age of computers…somebody should look into this…it can’t be a good sign…
I apologize to the blog savvy among you for belaboring the obvious, but I have had complaints that I don’t make any sense. Try watching a movie backwards and see how that works out…(I suggest the entire Star Wars saga, just to see if that might make more sense, but that is just a suggestion)… Back in the 70s there was a fad that involved listening to the old vinyl records…(think really big CDs), backwards, and that didn’t make any sense either. If you read this blog upside down, or backwards, if you prefer, you will go crazy and think you see the word ‘Devil’ repeating over and over, or maybe something about the Beatles…
Or if this analogy makes more sense, imagine walking into the theater in the middle of a movie, say Forest Gump for example, and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Go on, imagine it…we will wait for you…
So trust me, don’t do anything crazy. Do not just jump right in… (Or at least wait an hour if you just ate)…
Thank you,
My name is Arthur, and I endorse this message…
P. S. To make up for the gnome picture of my lovely older daughter, here are some good pictures of Jessica…

If you are not smiling right now, then there is no hope for your heart ever growing three sizes, no matter how many Christmases you ruin or how many toys you steal to take back to your lonely ice cave…

Oh my!!!! I should think you started blogging crazy, unlike some of us that has to learn the art as time went on.
Believe me, I have no doubt I’d find a number of them interesting and another good number of them very interesting, but I am afraid I do not have that much time on my hands.
Anyway, you already know this seeing it’s not my first notice and thanks for bearing with me.
that’s something to look into -why art seems very self-centered.
Ha! Nice you are making it up to her. She seemed a lovely sort, but I am afraid I am not for my lips moved barely an inch.
The beauty of me reblogging old posts is that it eliminates the need for back scrolling.
How thoughtful of your self-centred self.
I know…
Better than puppies and kittens!
(worried…if we scroll back far enough will a list of 10 appear? You never know…once things are carved in stone, they never disappear…especially if scrolling is still available?)
If you scroll fast enough, all will be revealed…
