For those of you who have been around for a while, I have a question.
Jessica is almost done formatting the first part of the novel. What I want to know is this;
Should I add the pictures I did of the aliens? I know they aren’t the best in the world. I could do a note that says that I just did them myself without ever actually seeing the aliens. But pictures are always good, right?

Let the words fire the reader’s imagination. When it becomes a cartoon movie, then you can use your pix;-)
That agrument has won the day.
that’s a toughy, they are great pics but suppose you should let readers imagination do the work, otherwise it could come across as a children’s book if it is illustrated.

You could always release the images once fans start a fansite up in appreciation of it and they want to dress up as the characters for theme parties or even conferences.
Jess said I could just do a button on my blog with the pictures there. That might get more people to my blog also.

If you are self publishing, the glory of it is that you can do what you want, and thst is glorious!

I liked imagining them but I also loved the pictures so I am no help at all.

I agree, try it out. It sounds like it would be easy to un-do if you didn’t like it.
