The next person who clicks the follow button is going to make me very happy. No, you won’t get free tickets to Disneyland or a car. You get something much better than that…
You get to read my blog every day…
Because it will pop up right on your reader.
Not bad for pushing one button, you must admit.
Also, you will join a select group of the best followers in the world, meet some very funny and interesting people, and maybe take part in some hilarious comment conversations if you wish to.
And I do love my followers. I take requests and suggestions and everything. And also, since I am using this blog in part to convince publishers that I can get people to read my stuff so they publish my funny sci-fi novel, you might help make my dream come true. So push the button already.
500 followers. That is like a magic number. That is so exciting that I am not even going to make a joke about having to go out and buy more Koolaid and cyanide.

When I first saw this, I was tempted to follow and unfollow and follow and unfollow and follow and unfollow and follow and unfollow … but I finally realized, I would be 499 forever if nobody else showed up.

Wow, 500, you have double mine. But refrain from checking them in the stats, I did and loads were spammers, the rest are now dead blogs, and others just followed when I was freshly pressed 18 months ago and never returned, well, as far as I know anyway, they never comment. I have about 10 regular commenters so I pretty much that means I have 10 followers. Starting my own religion is going to be a long time coming at this rate
Somebody told me that only one in 99 followers comment regularly. So don’t be depressed. Or freshly depressed… ha, see what I did there?
