I did a lot of pictures of baby Willie. So it only seems fair that I show you some pictures of my own kids when they were little…
There is me playing with Jessica. That kid rocked the hair thing. The nurses said they had never seen a blond baby born with so much hair.
She liked music from an early age. Both my kids are very artistic, and I like to take some credit. As a stay at home dad, I had a lot of influence in that department. But they get their smarts from their mom.
I love this picture. Jess looks both fashionable and thoughtful, both of which she still is.
The truth is, that when I started going through the bins of old photos, there were so many good pictures that I gave up. I only made it halfway through one of the two bins.
I mean I had to stop somewhere… This is back before we had a digital camera, so I am scanning these.
This picture ties it all together, because that is our friend John, Willie’s dad, holding little Mollie. He was just getting some practice for when he became a dad himself.
Awwww. There are my girls together. Mollie and Jessica, two little shining stars of brightness and light.
Oh Mollie, you are growing up so fast. I never even made it to all the baby pictures yet, but something to look forward to.
Well, there were a couple of baby pictures that caught my eye. That is me sleeping with Jessica in my arms… (That isn’t our couch, we were at a Grandma’s house. My couch is a nice, manly forest green color)… That picture doesn’t really show Jessica, and I wish my fat stomach wasn’t poking out… (just so you know, I have lost 40 pounds, and I just had to buy new pants and a new belt, and my waist is now only two or three inches bigger than it was when I was in high school)…
But come on, how cute is that?
And just so Mollie will not feel left out…
There is a picture of the two of us.
***Romantic Monday is an idea conceived by my friend Ed Hotspur. A lot of very talented bloggers do posts for this series. To see all the links, please pop over to;

Oh, and read what Ed wrote too, because even though I haven’t seen it yet, I bet it will move you.
And if you are wondering what my post has to do with romance, just ask yourself this; What is more romantic than making a baby or two?

Those little babykins are just adorable. I remember those little girl nighties and the big toothy grins. You are so lucky.
