Well, the haters might win. Trump found a vein of bigotry and selfishness and mined it. The world will never look at this country the same way again. We were a shining light, now we are a black hole. And why? Because individuals feel that they should have more, even if it means that everybody else has less.

Oh, and thanks, idiots who vote for the smaller parties. Yes, you made a moral stand. And once again, races in states where it was neck and neck have fallen to the dark lord. A woman-hating, racist, wife-cheating liar schoolyard bully might now have nuclear weapons. And Russia pulls off a bigger espionage coup than they ever did during the cold war.

He isn’t going to make your lives better. He has the house and senate. Say goodbye to the Supreme Court. And healthcare. And maybe gay marriage and a woman’s right to choose. Say hello to more guns, building racial tensions, the rich getting richer, and if history is repeated, he might replace the military authority, wait for riots, call for martial law, suspend rights, and start building camps.

As a friend just reminded me, tomorrow night is the anniversary of Kristallnacht. Google it.
