
So, have you ever wondered why the building surrounding the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland are two stories tall? I always assumed it was just facades, to add grandeur, or maybe secret offices or storage.

Well, it turns out that it is more interesting than that.

There is a magical place up there, behind those windows and balconies. And I mean magical even by Disney standards.

Because, down a narrow alley, past the entrance to the Pirate ride, there is a door, which you probably never so much as glanced at… unless you know the secret of that door.
