So there I was, on the last stretch back to San Diego after my latest adventures in the Bay Area. Los Angeles traffic had been stop and go since I left the coast. Google maps was pissing me off. It kept saying I would be experiencing a ‘slow down’ of however many minutes in a few miles, when I was already… still… in stop and go traffic. I guess it doesn’t have a recorded message that says: “You are in Los Angeles, you are totally screwed.”
But smoke up ahead on the highway didn’t seem likely to help.
I was relieved to see that it wasn’t a car burning.
And, once again, please don’t take photos while you drive. Leave it to the professionals.
