It is very distracting when Willie runs around for hours blowing that whistle he stole… I gave him… But I guess now that I am officially his godfather, I can deal with the little scamp.
As I mentioned, my older daughter, Jessica, was in town, and she has my ability to do a nice floral arrangement. In fact, she has oodles of artistic style and sophistication. I think it was her idea to do a sand ceremony…
We took sand from San Diego… and they brought sand from the beach near their house in San Francisco… the one Eva is always helping to clean up… and Jessica found some colored sand somewhere…
And we mixed them in the big bottle to symbolize our families coming together. It was truly beautiful.
Willie was less interested in that than the whistle.
He did get distracted from the whistle for a while to play Hot Wheels with Jason, Jessica’s boyfriend… he is the guy who does the artwork for my science fiction series, in case you forgot.
But Willie didn’t get distracted for long.
Pouring My Art Out 
Ha! I love the body language of the woman behind Jessica’s boyfriend in the pic where he is playing hot wheels with Willie. One foot is sideways and slightly raised as if she is about to start tapping it in anger. And her hands are curled as if she is about ready to make a fist and hit her boyfriend. And he is totally unaware of her. (I assume that woman is Jessica.) Bwahahaha! He has a live one there – Whew! ** “Don’t look Ethyl!” But it was too late, she’d already been mooned. ** Her art with the sand and bottles and flowers in excellent – very cool. Olivia looks as cool and collected as usual – looks like a good time was had by most.
Th9ose are actually Mollie’s legs… she is the cheerleader… it is just coiled energy.
Ahhh! Indeed a lot of pent up energy.

I made the mistake of giving one of my nephews a hard hat with a siren & flashing lights on the top – my sister still has never forgiven me!
