Why making your dreams come true might well involve making someone else’s nightmares a reality… sort of…

Most of you will remember my ‘making your dreams come true’ series of posts… where you email pictures of your head and I stick them in funny places in Photoshop. A few of you didn’t even tell me specific dreams you wanted me to make come true… you just trusted me and the crack squirrels.

If you want to see some of these posts to get an idea of what it is like, just try using the little magnifying glass search thing to search; ‘making your dreams come true’… At the very least you will learn that some of your blogger friends have some really weird dreams… even by my standards…

Well, that last post I did… the one right down there with the guy in the kilt… reminded me that way back when I was up at my mom’s house in the Bay Area at Christmas time, I was telling one of my newer blogger friends about this series in some comment thread, and she said…  quite reasonably… that she didn’t feel comfortable sending a strange man, (and I can’t really argue with that, can I?)… pictures of herself. And I seem to recall that I made some flippant comment about sending me someone else’s head… someone she didn’t like…

The thing is… and this is a thing that makes my blog not quite the same as any other blog… or thing… or place… in any universe or reality ever… but the thing is that the idea has been floating around inside my cranial cavity being chewed on and digested and regurgitated and redigested by the crack squirrels that live in there… (The deal is that I type what they tell me, no matter how many ideas they come up with in a day… or how crazy the ideas might sound at first… and they won’t chew through the nerve ganglia in my brain… oh, and they made me Google that, and it turns out that ganglia is both the singular and plural form of ganglia, but I got lost when I started reading about ganglion)…

Anywho… here is our new idea;

Instead of ‘making your dreams come true’, we try a ‘making your dreams come true by making their nightmares a reality’ series of posts. I guess by now you saw that coming.

You can send me pictures of your boss… or your ex-spouse… or your ex mother-in-law… or a hated political figure… ***(No pictures of Dick Cheney please*** He already has his own section in my word cloud thing over there in the sidebar… the only person I don’t like to have that honor… because I have done so many pictures of that evil little troll that I want you to be able to find them easily)***

You get the idea. You send a picture and a few suggestions of what should happen to the person you are so annoyed with… being eaten by sharks, dressing in the attire of the opposite sex, being morphed into a rodent or insect or whatever… and I will run the risk of being sued by some angry person that I never even met.

Let your imagination… and your anger… run wild!

    My idea of people overcoming the issues that make them assholes is probably not a very fun post.

    Good idea but it would require effort on my part (looking for a picture of my ex) and truly he just isn’t worth it.

    That’s a funny idea, but I worry about you being sued. To be safe, you might want to pixilate the face.

  4. I love the idea! (with evil laughter.)

    Not really my ‘thang’ I’m too soft hearted for that.

  6. Wow, that must have been some weirdo that gave you the idea. Glad I don’t know that person. And I can’t imagine whatever would make that person come up with such an idea – imagine putting your boss’ face on something like that. Sheesh.

  7. Wow great post – loved the title!! made me want to read it~!! I wish I could come up with inventive titles hahahah! Nice post!
