For once, I am doing a series of posts that aren’t all about me… this is about you… and how much you love your country… and how you can’t let your country be outdone by America… by letting America win ‘the human race’… which is really just a race to see who loves me the most by giving me the most ‘views’ on my stats page… which means… oh… wait… this really is all about me, isn’t it?
Well, whatever. Here are the latest stats, taken directly from my stats page:
| Country | Views |
|---|---|
| 88 | |
| 40 | |
| 21 | |
| 11 | |
| 10 | |
| 8 | |
| 5 | |
| 4 | |
| 3 | |
| 2 | |
| 1 | |
| 1 | |
You can clearly see that Canada made a last-minute rally and pulled ahead of Turkey and Costa Rica. But America is still in the lead. Remember that the number you have to beat is the number of ‘views’… and I think this means that you get a point for each post on my blog you click on. So read some old posts, people. Don’t do it for me… do it for the standing of your native land in the international community! Do it for your country! (Oh, I should also point out that these are technically yesterday’s stat numbers. I will have to start adding them together later today. I have extended this race for at least a while longer because people all over the world live in different time zones and it might still be yesterday for some of you while others of you are already halfway through tomorrow… or something). |

I’m surprised by the number of your Canadian readers – I thought Gibber & I were basically the only ones who were smart enough to stick with you! Ha!
Nope, Canada and England love me
Hey, We were second earlier. You’ve got your Canadian minions skewing the results. I smell foul play!
You need to step up your game… the U. K. can not afford to be left behind.
We’ll be chucked out of Europe soon too. We’ll be the outcasts of the world!
You better start clicking on some old posts… you lost an empire… can you really afford to lose this as well?
I can’t carry the burden alone, why don’t you have more British fans. You need to market yourself to the British consumer, maybe a book tour 😀
I used to have more, but they have abandoned me… which is only fair… since that is what my country did to your empire.
We never forget…
You are so polite we all just think you let stuff go…
Really, oh no, we keep notes
yeah you do
Hey Batman – I feel obliged to point out that if you want a true representation of the dedication by country you have to adjust for population. That is to say that since Canada has only 1/10 of the US population then on an adjusted basis our 40 respondants actually represent the same as 400 American votes or 4.5 times the response per capita. Of course, Americans are known for their apathy (see todays election – and did you know that there are over 1,000 posiions up for re-elaection today that have only one candidate?) and Canadians for their brand loyalty, so that’s about right. Bwahahaha! 🙂
I did take into account that Americans suck at voting. But if I do the relative size thing, a single hit from a small island is worth more than any number from a big country.
If you want to go that way, you’re way behind Costa Rica with its 4.5 million people.
This is going to be tough to judge a winner.
I don’t think it’s fair that you’re the judge, since you also represent one of the major contestants.
My conflict of interest is resolved by the fact that I am the only major contestant.
