After Willie’s birthday party in the park, we went back to their house in the city. We made a quick stop at a market in this quaint little neighborhood…
While I waited outside the store, I met this hipster dude and his cool dog…
I should have taken more pictures of that dog, but I was too busy scratching his big head.
We tried to get Willie to take a nap. While we were waiting for him, I took this picture out of the window of a moving van parked on the street outside. I think it might have had a run-in with a low bridge. The moving company should use this as their slogan: We keep all your stuff safe and in perfect condition… unless it rains…
And guess what… Willie has a stuffed squirrel… that looks a lot like my crack squirrels. He seemed harmless…
At least until he suddenly lunged at my head.
I kept myself busy with Guinness the dog. You might remember him from earlier posts. That dog loves me.
Me and my magic fingers… So, my wife came up with an awesome birthday gift idea for Willie. We got him a bunch of hats. A fireman hat, a policeman hat, a construction worker hat, and a chef’s hat… Yes, I know, we already made all the Village People jokes, so save your breath… but the thing is… oh, thing, there you are… I didn’t get any pictures of Willie wearing the hats. Every time I tried to take one, he laughed and took off the hat. It was a game we were playing.
Fortunately, Willie’s dad, Big Johnny, let me take a few pictures of him wearing the chef hat and matching apron…
The fit isn’t perfect, but in my head, all I could hear was the Swedish chef from the Muppet show…
Inga sverden binggenn schmmooden mitt der stinken fishenn…

Hats are a great idea for a birthday gift! Lots of opportunity for Willie to use his imagination!
That is what we thought
didja see the one where he made “da broosle sproots”? One of my favorites!
Oh yeah
Oh, I love the hat idea. My Grand niece would love that for her birthday.
Kids love hats.
That squirrel does NOT look harmless. “Did you see his eyes?”
that’s what I’m saying.
Hoydee, Hoydee, hannan blinich! ha! Told you didn’t he? Love the Swedish Chef.
Plus it is fun to make up fake Swedish words.
Is just AWESOME!

Hahaha! I happen to LOVE the Swedish Chef! My husband thinks it’s pathetic that I laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME that “Old Faithful” Highlander commercial comes on… Chef on a motorcycle
