Here are some more pictures from another fun little date my wife and I went on… and then I am done clearing the old pictures off my cell phone… There is this cool metal tower on a little island down in the bay in San Diego. It is actually on the grounds of a big resort.
We decided to climb it and check out the view.
The view from the top was fantastic. And it was a fun little part of the romantic walk we took after a romantic dinner overlooking the bay.
I am not going to bore you with pictures of the food or where we ate it.
But pelicans… I will bore you with those…
Always climb to a high spot when you can, or take an elevator to the top of a building, drive up a mountain, whatever.
Because you never know what you will see, but you know that at the very least you will be able to see farther.
Or is that ‘further’… I always get those two mixed up…
We did see a cool bird right beside the place we ate. I think that is a kingfisher.
And yes, I do know that is a duck… a female mallard if I am not mistaken… but did you also notice the big turtle swimming beside it?

No heights for me – I have vertigo! Do they really have stairs you can climb up? I’m surprised they let people do anything in America anymore because of all the lawsuits!
