On the Friday after Christmas, my whole family… Mom, wives, kids, brothers, nieces and nephews, all piled in two cars and went over to San Francisco to visit the California Academy of Sciences. You should really check that place out if you ever make it to the Bay Area. I took so many pictures that I have to break it up into a series of posts…
They have an albino alligator. On a related note, I saw a white turkey while I was driving near my mom’s house. She tells me that only one in 100,000 turkeys are white. I didn’t get a picture of the turkey.
The science museum also has a huge aquarium full of interesting sea life…
There are sharks and some cool sting rays…
I like sting rays…
That one up there was about three feet across… it was huge.
We also saw a guy feeding penguins…
You know you love penguins…
And if you go up on the roof of the building, it is covered with growing plants. Like a great big Hobbit house…
Okay, I have more pictures of this little outing… and there will be a special surprise guest… so stick around.

Penguins are so cute, but so smelly!
Don’t keep them in the house.
I don’t own a house, so I wouldn’t keep them in one even if I had one!
Problem solved!
Tell me out of all that excitement did you get to see and touch snow? To feel the cold drip through your hands?
cheers happy new year…
from a toad!…
I have felt snow before, but not this trip… well… not real snow…
One of 100000 turkeys is naturally white, but quite a few get their color from a salon…
doh
Cool I would love it there.
Everyone would.
