And now, back to the silly stuff…

I am a little disappointed. I think only a handful of people read my short story. I know it wasn’t the kind of thing you expect to see here, but I wanted to try branching out. I think it is a powerful story with elements of military fiction, science fiction, adventure, fantasy and horror. I think the ending is a pretty good twist that takes it in a whole new direction. And I would love it if you helped me come up with the best name for that story. I am going to try sending it to some online magazines and writing contests, maybe get it published somewhere.

And now I will go back to doing the silly, goofy, weird stuff that you are used to. Because I have fun with that too…

I’ll read your short story over the Christmas holidays when fewer people are posting & I have a bit more time, OK?

Ehhh, you warned me off it, Uncle Art! I am after the family friendly stories, I am just a big kid at heart.

  3. Write a story using nothing but words in foreign languages, technical jargon or philosophy. It’s so fun, I forgot to laugh!

I liked it, it’s a tough time for wordpress traffic because of the holidays. Maybe you should repost it in February?

Each one of your chapters is titled with one word. Do the same for the story”s title. How about RANDOM , TEMPO,

I haven’t read it yet. I still have the first page open on my browser. I have had a lot going on this week.

Dude, I only write fiction really and get very few actual readers, so don’t be surprised. People only have so much time. I’ll read the story when I get the chance, likely over the holidays.

Did you get my edits on chapters? I sent them couple of days ago. Hoping no screw ups with e-mail.

I really liked it for what it’s worth. It reminded me a lot of an Outer Limits episode. I hope a magazine does pic it up. I’m not much good with titles. Maybe The Harvested/(r)…I’m sure you’ll come up with something. You always do!

On a side note, what happened to the rest of the illustrations?
