I like that you tagged this as “transportation.” As though crashing and burning were a legitimate means of getting from here to there.

The transportation tag was just one of the choices they provided, and I thought it would be funny. And there are no whores here… desperate people maybe, lonely people for sure… people who have chosen to lower their standards as the bar gets ready to close… but no whores.

Try tagging stuff with weird tags. The WordPress topic reader pages are fun. I once tagged a post ‘sitting on the toilet’ and I stayed on the top of that page for weeks… oh, delicious irony.
Insider information says that Rosie the Robot sabotaged the space car.

Interesting that in the future there aren’t any airbags or such to prepare for this happening. I am sure it isn’t uncommon.

I don’t know how much airbags would help… jetpack parachutes maybe.
I think these Jetsons had it coming. All living in luxury with futuristic comforts to ease the burden of their daily lives… those bastards. I hope they suffered in the flames of their own demise. I hope they were eventually indistinguishable from the tangled heaps of metal that was once their flying automobile, and that the only people who attended their funeral was a lecherous gravedigger who proceeded to urinate on the gravestones. Screw. The. Jetsons.

The fire department probably just folded it up into a match and blew it out.
I think they landed in the 68 mile-deep garbage piles under the raised buildings and bounced to a soft if smelly landing… unfortunately, they did sustain massive burns, but nothing that modern medicine couldn’t take care of. The car was a total write off, and due to Mr. Spaceley’s well-known tightfistedness, George was unable to keep up with the skyrocketing insurance costs. He now rides Elroy’s flying skateboard to work.
Why didn’t he attach wings to the treadmill and let Astro propel him to work?
Even they do not have flying treadmill technology yet.
