In one of those weird twists of nature, we had three spectacular sunsets last week.
There were these strange bars of light and shadow.
It was almost eerie.
That one looks like they actually cut right through the clouds.
But I saved the most spectacular one for last.
Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the clouds.

Beautiful, thank you. I’ve been feeling down since writing about Invisible Illness Awareness Week on my blog. I needed one of your uplifting photo posts to help pull me out of the bleak darkness that is sometimes my mind.
I think the tweet posts would do an even better job of cheering you up…
Smell the clouds? Because of the smog? But seriously, these are amazing, especially the last one.

Great shots. We were getting some of these same great sunsets just a jump up the coast from you. They frown on you stopping on the freeway though, so I just had to enjoy them while I drove home.
Right after I invented sunsets, I invented freeway exits… just sayin’…
That was good of you, to give us that opportunity to pull over and enjoy those marvelous sunsets, safely, and without irritating those of us who don’t want to appreciate them.
However, pulling over means I’m that much further out from spending time with the queen and little prince. So, could you go ahead and invent some sort of teleporting device? That’d be great, thanks!
