Rufus is now back on Earth visiting his mother. He is the darling of all the civilized worlds because of the action against the pirates. But now we start to find out that there is more going on with the pirates than we first thought. There is some huge alien/human hybrid corporation that manipulated the teenage delinquents with alien drugs and human booze and Disneyland rides and Johnny Depp movies and then convinced them to take up pirating. Who would want to do this? And Why?
Well Rufus is going to find out, because he now has an informant… and an alien spacecraft that is parked on the roof of his mother’s house. So all rufus has to do is learn how to fly the ship, get in an air battle over the San Francisco Bay, and save the duped pirates from being assassinated by alien mercenaries working for the evil corporation so he can… no… you just have to read some of it yourself.
I will tell you that even when you figure out what is happening now you will still be wrong, because there are plots within plots and nothing is quite what it seems.
And did I mention that Rufus had mind sex with that strange alien artifact called the memory stone, and if I do say so myself, it is about as steamy a love scene as you will ever read…ummm… between a human male and an inanimate rock. Just sayin’.
Once again Rufus is heading into danger, and once again, he doesn’t have a plan or a clue.
But he does have his brave little band of alien friends. And a rock that knows everything. And now he has a sweet ride.
Pouring My Art Out 
I left off at Ch. 25, easy to remember, will probably read another 5 chapters in the not too distant future. A lot of writers are doing NaNoWriMo, you should do it, good exposure to more readers/writers.
I just heard about it, but I haven’t figured it out yet.
Every time I get five minutes to read it something happens! For what it’s worth, I like what I’ve read. I get a week off in November and if I have finished Reapers Two I promise I’ll give yours a go.
