So what’s up? Oh, I’ll tell you what’s up…

I know I am posting a lot of chapters of the novel, but we really are just one or two away from the end of the first part, and I do want to finish the name changes in time for my writing class. There is plenty of other stuff to keep you busy if you aren’t sucked into the book yet.

My daughter and Ed Hotspur convinced me to start a Twitter account. I like the idea of trying to be clever in a confined space, so I did it. But when some people went to look for it, it turns out I already had a Twitter account. My daughter set it up ages ago and then forgot about it. Now I don’t know the password, so I can’t even get rid of the old one or do any tweets on it.

If you are interested in this new experiment… (because we all know I need another thing to keep me busy pouring my art out like I need a wisdom tooth pulled)… please do not go to @mrarthurbrowne because you will not find anything but a picture of my head wearing a Viking helmet and a big set of fake Viking whiskers. Instead, go to @ArthurBrowne1 and hopefully I will be able to amuse you in a much shorter space of time and words than I do here.

Oh, and the last Conan the barbarian post is coming to a computer near you very soon.

i lasted a month on twitter, it felt like I was talking to myself.

    • See, I don’t mind that. My own facebook friends don’t listen to me. My family only does because I speak loud.

😀 I have a great picture in my head now of you shouting your head off.

I’m the same with FB, I get ‘like’ clicks, I don’t mind that on WordPress as people take longer to read many blogs, sometimes they only have time to like. But on FB on my small circle of friends then they can’t be bothered to add to a thread? Unacceptable, and I’m not telling all about my breakfast that day, I make witty observations that demand response, only today I commented that I had the giggles on the phone to a French customer as he revealed his name was Mr Froger. Not a peep from my FB friends, but they still felt the need to tell all what music they were listening to that minute. They could have started a comedy xenophobic thread, and I have many aswell as Mr Froger, I also have a German customer whose email address begins ‘kraut@’.

Twitter is fun for 2 weeks then you realize people care even less about what you have to say than you care about their opinions.
