Okay, I am not really doing these just because Ed likes to do flower pictures. I just had some on my cell phone and I am clearing them off so I can use the new camera I got for Father’s Day.
And the truth is, I like flowers too.
My dad used to take lots of closeup pictures of flowers. We digitized all his old photos to do a computer slideshow for their 50th wedding anniversary, and there were some stunning shots of flowers.
And really, who doesn’t like flowers? These are just random shots taken around California over the last year or two.
And besides, the ladies like flowers, and if you put up pictures of them, it couldn’t hurt, right? Makes me look sensitive and artistic. Am I right, ladies? oh, yeah.

Those two are good. Especially a monkey holding a baby or…..is it the other way around???

Artistic? Yes. Sensitive? Hmmmmm. Ah, those flowers are gorgeous.

I sensed I was being discussed. Hey, when are your bathroom remodel pics coming out? Or pics of the sky, or unicorns pissing rainbows?
Oh, rest assured that these are all in the process of being done in one form or another… Dick Cheney remodeling my bathroom while being pissed on by a unicorn flying in the sky being ridden by a ninja wearing rainbow jammies… oh, yeah, I can see it now…
I guess seeing Richard performing actual work would be entertaining, I just hope you protected your family and yourself by disarming him before he crossed your threshold…hmmmm…wonder if he’d even be safe to be around what with proximity to hammers and saws and such? Go ninjas!
I will be carefully monitoring his work. Holding a baseball bat.
Oh, everybody likes flowers. Just don’t eat ’em, especially not the roots… (Even on non-toxic flowers, the roots are usually poisonous.) If you must eat flowers, stick to rooh afza. And broccoli, I suppose. No one’s ever actually died from broccoli…
I made an alien in my sci fi novel that looks like giant broccoli… I think I put a picture up in an earlier post… thanks for the comment.
Speaking of your novel…when can we tentatively expect to be able to purchase said novel? As a sci fi addicted person I anxiously await the possibility of another author/arthur (LOL) that is worth the read. Any news on that front?
I am more than half way through the final edit. Soon I will be looking for an agent.
It’s all about marketing and self-promotion to increase those numbers!
