The wedding… Part 1

I am back home, and I have a lot of pictures to share. Too bad they are phone pictures, and the quality wont be very good. But the wedding was incredible!

Here is the rustic cabin that my wife, the kids and I stayed in…

I should have taken an inside shot, because we are talking right out of the Beverly Hillbillies here. Like Ma and Pa Kettle. And it was awesome.

Here is a view of the little back porch…

And here is a view from the little back porch…

Maybe I am making these too big, because I am not happy about the quality at all, but I guess you get the idea.

Here are the kids and Uncle Sid, my brother, on the little front porch, having lunch…

The wedding took place in a little rustic resort that my friends who got married rented for the entire weekend. They rented the entire resort. And man, did we have a hoot… or a hootenanny, to be more precise. It was in a little valley called Anderson Valley, in the Napa Valley wine region of Northern California. The bride has connections with this area that are too confusing to get into right now.

And there was this river…

Man, these pictures suck. For the next post I will try something different with them and see if it works better, but I am too exhausted to go back and fix these…

And this does sort of capture the essence of the place, in a vague, blurry sort of way, which is sort of appropriate, considering how much I drank the first night…

Uncle Sid and the girls, checking out the river.

Okay, I need to figure out how to make these better before I start showing pictures of the wedding, but whatever…

  1. Blurry aside, cool place. Why would the kin folk say, Jed move away from there! 😉
